With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Biehl saved TuS Hackenberg 2005 from getting behind. Josef Biehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Josef Biehl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in TuS Hackenberg 2005's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Biehl came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Detlef Schneller got free with Julio Vera in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Abersell in the 20th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Offenloch hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Josef Biehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. Detlef Schneller's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Detlef Schneller came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Biehl having to interfere. Josef Biehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the game, TuS Hackenberg 2005's Detlef Schneller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josef Biehl firmly grabbed it by the left post. Josef Biehl made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josef Biehl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Josef Biehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The TuS Hackenberg 2005 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
