Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 minutes Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla managed, with a little bit of luck, save Khai Choy's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khai Choy went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 12th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Christian Goy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Goy having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Goy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Christian Goy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Christian Goy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Christian Goy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Goy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Gencho Ruski got a free kick in the 35th minute. Christian Goy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christian Goy, passed just outside the right post. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Goy was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. With a little luck, Albirex Niigata FC's Christian Goy got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albirex Niigata FC's Christian Goy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christian Goy could save by the left post. Christian Goy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Christian Goy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 79 played minutes Tomas Berganza rounded Albirex Niigata FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Hardo Kaarna got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Goy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Tomas Berganza's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Albirex Niigata FC's Chus Egas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 91 minute of the game. The supporters of Panama booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Tongson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Goy came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panama had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
