Colombia were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after The White Star WK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. A collision led to The White Star WK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rafal Zagrobelny hit a great ball. With a little luck, The White Star WK's Peng Xu got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peng Xu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Dulemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The White Star WK's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peng Xu came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peng Xu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Canor in the 33rd minute of play. Peng Xu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Peng Xu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Ovidio Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peng Xu. Peng Xu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oso Biñuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Zagrobelny came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Zagrobelny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Zagrobelny in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Oso Biñuela came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Mantzio made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oso Biñuela immediately put the ball in play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind The White Star WK's goalkeeper Peng Xu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oso Biñuela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Peng Xu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Zagrobelny in the 87th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The White Star WK booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Kryspin Dulemba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The White Star WK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Dulemba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
