With an all-out effort, Panama's Mahir Birhan threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Barbaros in the 7th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Abdulhamit Akbel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulhamit Akbel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamit Akbel in the 20th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulhamit Akbel in the 23rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Barbaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Denizhan Oğuzman. In the 31st minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Diguinho Botelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Miguel Miralles struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mahir Birhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Şenel Barbaros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Şenel Barbaros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomas Berganza.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Rıdvan Yılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Erzincan FK's Mahir Birhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th play minute Şenel Barbaros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 0-2. Şenel Barbaros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Mahir Birhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Mahir Birhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Miralles spun around in front of the goal 73 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Erzincan FK's goal. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Erzincan FK's Şenel Barbaros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Şenel Barbaros sent off a good shot on target. Denizhan Oğuzman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Erzincan FK's Şenel Barbaros got a free kick in the 85th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Şenel Barbaros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Panama supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Erzincan FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Erzincan FK.
