Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jie Xing in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jie Xing in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Clive Holloway made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Clive Holloway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clive Holloway was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Yu Jie Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. With a little luck, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Felix Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 42 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jie Xing came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Holloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clive Holloway read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of play. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Clive Holloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Clive Holloway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Zanardi in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Andrew Harrison got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Clive Holloway didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After having played for 89 minutes, Matt Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Sullivan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Clive Holloway. Staffordshire Terrier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Matt Sullivan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
