After 23 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Espiridion who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rogelio Espiridion got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Matt Sullivan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Clive Holloway in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clive Holloway narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 88th minute of play forced Staffordshire Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Clive Holloway didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
