Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Fabian Brown hit a great ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yenal Tanır in the 6th minute of play. Armando Gazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Mcdonald went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, USA's Armando Gazza threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 18th minute, Yenal Tanır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fabian Brown kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Juventus PTM's Yenal Tanır made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Gazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute Yenal Tanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Juventus PTM were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51stth minute of the game Yenal Tanır who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Gazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimundo Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Espírito Santo got free with Marco Day in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes, Raimundo Espírito Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus PTM and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of USA booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Távora hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Juventus PTM's Patrick Viera was substituted for Alex Acatincăi. Juventus PTM made a substitution. Petre Mitică replaced Vidar Albäck. In the 95th minute, Sam Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see USA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
