Dawid Ratulowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 31st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Derlis Florentin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximo Villamarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Jeremias Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 51st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Derlis Florentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dawid Ratulowski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Red Reign's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Dawid Ratulowski, making the score, 1-1. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Ratulowski having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Red Reign was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavion Sorriva to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 83rd minute of play.
