Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Moises Fernandino took the kick off in the first half of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeraldo Duñabeitia in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Zavier Reveco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Arbieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Jeraldo Duñabeitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Arbieto in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Moises Fernandino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lorencio Atienza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Jose Solorzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Jose Solorzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariachi FC's Zelipe Beca. But to his dismay, Zelipe Beca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zavier Reveco in the 31st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Marcos Arbieto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Jeraldo Duñabeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Marcos Arbieto notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zavier Reveco went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavier Reveco in the 51st minute of play. Jeraldo Duñabeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeraldo Duñabeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Marcos Arbieto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-7. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zavier Reveco in the 62nd minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeraldo Duñabeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Rogelio Flores notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th match minute, Mariachi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Ayala to maneuver through the defense. El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rainerio Tassara's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rainerio Tassara helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Mariachi FC got a freekick which was hit by Rainerio Tassara. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Cristiano Ayala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariachi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. A collision led to Mariachi FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cristiano Ayala hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 86th minute. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Lorencio Atienza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Yepes during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariachi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
