Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernt Kihlberg got the match started through his kick off. If Bernt Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11th play minutes Bernt Kihlberg shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Kihlberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Bernt Kihlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bernt Kihlberg sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bernt Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bernt Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Hurtig struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mantorp. Bernt Kihlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Bernt Kihlberg scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Bernt Kihlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Kihlberg. After 43 minutes of play, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernt Kihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bernt Kihlberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Aaron Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes Mantorp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Olof Gummeson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. The referee gave Mantorp a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anders Olofsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 5-0. When Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Kihlberg in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 67thth minute of the game Bernt Kihlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Bernt Kihlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Kihlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mantorp made a substitution. Sven-Edvin Henriksson replaced Aaron Lundqvist. After 74 minutes of play, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 86 played minutes Mantorp got a freekick which was hit by Anders Olofsson. A collision led to Mantorp getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Billy Fågel hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bernt Kihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
