After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Filippos Stathopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filippos Stathopoulos went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Berkem Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillhärdal BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkem Heybetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Lillhärdal BF's Filippos Stathopoulos. But to his dismay, Filippos Stathopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sixten Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Lillhärdal BF's Berkem Heybetli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Berkem Heybetli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Filippos Stathopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Berkem Heybetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Berkem Heybetli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lillhärdal BF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sixten Nordström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Lillhärdal BF's Berkem Heybetli got a free kick in the 31st minute. Lillhärdal BF's Hao Si Cheng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 33 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Filippos Stathopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lillhärdal BF the free kick. The wind increased when Berkem Heybetli made the kick off in the second half. When Filippos Stathopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lillhärdal BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippos Stathopoulos couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippos Stathopoulos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Stathopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Stathopoulos in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qin Han Jing in the 63rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Filippos Stathopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The supporters of Lillhärdal BF booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Stathopoulos in the 67th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Lillhärdal BF's Berkem Heybetli made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
