Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Luciano Ondino sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olivos Futbol Club's Borek Borok. Borek Borok was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borek Borok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borek Borok. Borek Borok dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Ondino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borek Borok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luciano Ondino struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos Futbol Club. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Urbano Satordi put in a rough tackle. 54 minutes into the game, one of Olivos Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Borek Borok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olivos Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Jose Correa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Borek Borok in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Olivos Futbol Club's much stronger midfield.
