Ago Leks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. At last the ball reached Cristian Sancho at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of JK Kurevere. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Juan Sebastián Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ago Leks. JK Kurevere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sebastián Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the JK Kurevere defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ago Leks. The JK Kurevere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ago Leks should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kurevere's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ago Leks came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the JK Kurevere defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ago Leks. The JK Kurevere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ago Leks should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ago Leks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 20 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of JK Kurevere's goal. Ago Leks came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ago Leks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Ago Leks. JK Kurevere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 33rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ago Leks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ago Leks was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.
Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 53rd minute of play forced JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Ago Leks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilmar Kurg during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, JK Kurevere's Ilmar Kurg got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, JK Kurevere's Ago Leks got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ago Leks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ivar Meri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ivar Meri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ago Leks was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. JK Kurevere's Ago Leks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Ago Leks. JK Kurevere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Ago Leks made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. JK Kurevere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Ago Leks, making the score, 0-13. 92 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Ago Leks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ago Leks. That made the score 0-15 after 95 minutes of play.
