Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charlie Bjurström got the match started through his kick off. When Charlie Bjurström came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the DFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Bjurström couldn't finish the play. Charlie Bjurström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Bjurström in the 5th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vallengren having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Thor Hasselqvist hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Alebom. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Charlie Bjurström managed to get in a good position for a shot. DFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Bjurström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Charlie Bjurström put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Stefano Lilipaly's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joel Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Charlie Bjurström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by DFP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DFP's Joel Vallengren did a great save. Charlie Bjurström might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Bjurström ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, DFP's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charlie Bjurström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 44th minute, Stefano Lilipaly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Charlie Bjurström managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Vallengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Vallengren. Joel Vallengren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stefano Lilipaly came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Joel Vallengren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Vallengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that DFP's Joel Vallengren managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DFP had won after a very even match.
