Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boguslaw Makarewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play. In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mestre GG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Paciuszko having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Makarewicz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Makarewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boguslaw Makarewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 46th match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton do Valle to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Boguslaw Makarewicz made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benson Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Benson Beverley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Mestre GG's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Boguslaw Makarewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestre GG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Makarewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benson Beverley came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benson Beverley couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benson Beverley in the 95th minute of play.
