Bolivia's Benito Madrid pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Zachary Bronicki fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wehrkirchen's protests and gave Zachary Bronicki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Wehrkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Bronicki to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso de la Cruz couldn't finish the play. When Zachary Bronicki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, one of Wehrkirchen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wehrkirchen. After 76 played minutes Wehrkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Majczyk. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wehrkirchen's goalkeeper Norbert Lepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alfredo Ferrant came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Ferrant couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Fontirroig scored 1-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norbert Lepper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norbert Lepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Norbert Lepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wehrkirchen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bolivia.
