An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 2nd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Paciuszko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Remigiusz Paciuszko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mestre GG defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Paciuszko. The Mestre GG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Paciuszko should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Boguslaw Makarewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's Wilton do Valle got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Remigiusz Paciuszko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benson Beverley in the 25th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benson Beverley's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Remigiusz Paciuszko. With an all-out effort, Mestre GG's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benson Beverley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Remigiusz Paciuszko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 44th minute of the match. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigiusz Paciuszko. Remigiusz Paciuszko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 57th minute, Benson Beverley made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play. In the 76th minute Álvaro Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona's shot from long distance in the 78th minute was not bad at all, but Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Paciuszko having to interfere. Luca Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mestre GG throughout the match.
