Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Harald Josefsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Sputchi FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eskil Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sputchi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Nicolas Olejmeulen in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sputchi FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Olejmeulen came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Tidén in the 28th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Tidén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Olejmeulen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timmy Jönsson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After the first half Sputchi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Magnus Tidén made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Karl-Magnus Tidén got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Timmy Jönsson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Karl-Magnus Tidén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Sputchi FC got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Jönsson. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Sputchi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Nicolas Olejmeulen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Engström in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Sputchi FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Tidén hit a great ball. Nicolas Olejmeulen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Engström in the 88th minute of the match. Timmy Jönsson made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mattias Tidéksson. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sputchi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
