In the 24th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Dymarki Wejherowo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Felix Montenegro to score against Rafal Dulka in Dymarki Wejherowo's goal. 2-0 after 24 minutes. After a defensive mix-up in Dymarki Wejherowo's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Dulka came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rafal Dulka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafal Dulka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafal Dulka. Rafal Dulka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rafal Dulka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafal Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rafal Dulka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rafal Dulka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dymarki Wejherowo's Rafal Dulka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
