When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guifre Pilø. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garaile Sevilla in the 10th minute of play. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Guifre Pilø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Alonso Berganza to fire away a dangerous shot which Guifre Pilø despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Garaile Sevilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garaile Sevilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When RST Sanesteam 1294's Garaile Sevilla in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guifre Pilø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Garaile Sevilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RST Sanesteam 1294 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guifre Pilø having to interfere. Garaile Sevilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garaile Sevilla ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the RST Sanesteam 1294 defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guifre Pilø. The RST Sanesteam 1294 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guifre Pilø should have stopped the shot. RST Sanesteam 1294's Guifre Pilø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Roca in the 89th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
