Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Manzanedo in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estudiantes de América's Florencio Ermengol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 8th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estudiantes de América's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chile's Xavier Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Ranolfo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Prospero Gabirel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 16thth minute of the game Prospero Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cornelio Ruisko sent off a good shot on target. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de América's goalie prevented a goal. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kraig Fred in the 31st minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 40th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ranolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de América from getting a goal against them. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. After 65 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Kert Roolaid. 67 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Marcos Ranolfo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Cordarrel in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Concetto Trasatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Concetto Trasatti in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Blăniță in the 94th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Estudiantes de América supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
