Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Siro Argenis made the kick off and thus started the match. Adan Celio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Argenis in the 8th minute of the match. After 13th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Haroldo Raymon and just under the crossbar into goal. 18 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Haroldo Raymon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Constitución's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 27th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sportivo Constitución booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 35th minute when Tomas Illescas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Joaquin Florian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Constitución's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Raymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The Sportivo Constitución players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Haroldo Raymon came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Tomas Illescas sped through Sportivo Constitución's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Raymon. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Haroldo Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas had several of the Sportivo Constitución's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Haroldo Raymon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Osvaldo Ponc replaced Adan Celio. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Constitución the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Siro Argenis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
