After a defensive mix-up in The Alliance's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Ahlin came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrik Ahlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Ahlin saved The Alliance from getting behind. In the last second Patrik Ahlin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Patrik Ahlin had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edmundo Espiga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Ahlin was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Ahlin. The Alliance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Ahlin having to interfere. Patrik Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 37th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Patrik Ahlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Ahlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Espinar's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Ahlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrik Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alliance's Patrik Ahlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Siöberg in the 45th minute of the match. After 46th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Patrik Ahlin and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Siöberg was the one to do the kick off. Ludvig Bäcklin made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jack Larsson immediately put the ball in play. In the 54th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Ahlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, The Alliance's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Åke Siöberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrik Ahlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Patrik Ahlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. When Jack Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Alliance's protests and gave Jack Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, The Alliance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Larsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the game Ludvig Bäcklin made a throw-in which Jack Larsson played forward. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Alliance's Patrik Ahlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play. Patrik Ahlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Åke Siöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Ahlin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 96th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Patrik Ahlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
