After some careless play in the SISTRELLS defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Benedicto. The SISTRELLS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Benedicto should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Alcalde in the 10th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Carballar during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Mateo Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Mateo Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Benedicto. SISTRELLS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, SISTRELLS's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Filomeno Benedicto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by SISTRELLS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. SISTRELLS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Filomeno Benedicto, making the score, 3-0. When Mateo Primeiro came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SISTRELLS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Primeiro couldn't finish the play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Primeiro in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Primeiro in the 39th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Benedicto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute. Filomeno Benedicto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavi Nikopensius in the 61st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Benedicto having to make a save. In the 71st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Benedicto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Benedicto saved SISTRELLS from getting behind. In the 75th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Benedicto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aya Contreras. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aya Contreras in the 77th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taavi Nikopensius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute SISTRELLS were awarded a corner. Celso Sandaili went to the cornerflag to take it. Celso Sandaili made a great header on SISTRELLS's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Albert Alcalde tried to sneak it across the goal line.
