The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 27 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After a rather tough play, Juventus F.C.'s Anselmo De Paolis got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Puglielli. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus F.C. the free kick. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
