Marcinho Donatello came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Orlando Casaus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcinho Donatello. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcinho Donatello made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Murillo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SNIPER's goalkeeper Marcinho Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Hermes in the 16th minute of play. SNIPER were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kornél Huszti took the corner. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcinho Donatello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho Donatello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Donatello having to make a save. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 39th minute, but Marcinho Donatello got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving SNIPER hanging dry this time. Marcinho Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Garrido in the 42nd minute. After some careless play in the SNIPER defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcinho Donatello. The SNIPER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho Donatello should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Doru Băieșu made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Băieșu in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Murillo Hermes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 2-4 in the 55 minute of play. Chile's Felix Garrido quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vito Tande, made in the 57th minute of the game. Marcinho Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 61st minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho Donatello. Marcinho Donatello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 66 minutes into the match, SNIPER's Murillo Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to SNIPER getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Perivaldo Arósio hit a great ball. SNIPER made a substitution. Valdemar Fernandez replaced Celsinho Vargas. The supporters of Chile booed when SNIPER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kornél Huszti who took care of the corner kick. In the 74thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SNIPER's Marcinho Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Donatello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Donatello having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Donatello saved SNIPER from getting behind. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Murillo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Murillo Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcinho Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of play. Doru Băieșu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Murillo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SNIPER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SNIPER were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chile's much stronger midfield.
