Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Agustin Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Constitución's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Sotil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Raymon was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haroldo Raymon quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Haroldo Raymon. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Siro Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Constitución's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Argenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Haroldo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Haroldo Raymon was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 38 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Sportivo Constitución players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Raymon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd match minute, Sportivo Constitución was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Florian to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Sotil in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Argenis to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Siro Argenis. Guillermo Mariano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Haroldo Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Sportivo Constitución's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Haroldo Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sportivo Constitución's Herminio Abad was substituted for Benigno Chano. The supporters of Sportivo Constitución booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Osvaldo Ponc replaced Adan Celio. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Argenis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Napier in the 72nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Raymon having to make a save. In the 79th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Siro Argenis sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sportivo Constitución getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Osvaldo Ponc hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Sotil in the 95th minute of play. Venezuela's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
