The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barra Gøl. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Mancebo got free with Barra Gøl in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfried Spaniol made a kick off. Barra Gøl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfried Spaniol got free with Julio Vera in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maciej Żurawski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo na Veia FC™'s Bernard Scarpa was substituted for Flavinho Rosado. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Galo na Veia FC™ made a substitution. In the 84th minute of the match, Maciej Żurawski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Profeta didn't get a good kick on the ball.
