Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Evaristo Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Marcelo Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Roldan saved Cuervos AFC from getting behind. Evaristo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, Cuervos AFC's Marcelo Petrigai made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Cuervos AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Roldan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 28 played minutes Cuervos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Petrigai. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 29th minute. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st match minute, Cuervos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Berart to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cuervos AFC's Charles Teuma Castelletti. But to his dismay, Charles Teuma Castelletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Berart got free with Dante Lacasa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Charles Teuma Castelletti made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cuervos AFC defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Roldan. The Cuervos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Roldan should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Petrigai in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos AFC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Roldan came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Illan in the 66th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Joel Gaona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Evaristo Roldan threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Evaristo Roldan in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 85th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evaristo Roldan. Evaristo Roldan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evaristo Roldan firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Luca Rouco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After some careless play in the Cuervos AFC defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Roldan. The Cuervos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Roldan should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cuervos AFC throughout the match.
