After having played for 39 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanchez Mendecute got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Venceslas Pumares. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
