Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Moore in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Surahammar's Mark Brovall. After a rather tough play, USA's Cassius Byrne got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th play minute Cassius Byrne came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Lindström. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Raphael Moore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Surahammar's Mark Brovall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Santxol, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel Oakley in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Surahammar got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Santxol ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Surahammar's Victor Santxol to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jan Lindström made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Raphael Moore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Surahammar's Mark Brovall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 28 minutes of play, Surahammar's Victor Santxol made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the USA defense, Victor Santxol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Santxol, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Lindström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Surahammar's attentive Vincent Benett managed to snatch the ball when Raphael Moore made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Radamel Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Santxol to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of the match. Radamel Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xiao Yan Jian was slow to take the kick. During this time Surahammar's players had a chance to rest. Despite this Jan Lindström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. André Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 80thth minute of the game André Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Raphael Moore got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marco Baker. 87 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and André Pettersson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. André Pettersson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Surahammar echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as USA had held the ball for most of the match.
