Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Maju started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Diagur in the 4th minute. Pastor Valery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes Capdevilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Valery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Miguel Diagur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-1. In the 17th match minute, Capdevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Francho to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capdevilla's Pastor Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of play. Pastor Valery came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 33 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Maju came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Capdevilla made a substitution. Carolo Christobal replaced Filomeno Hitz. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Pastor Valery. Capdevilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 70 minutes into the game, Miguel Diagur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pastor Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Diagur in the 77th minute of play. Capdevilla's Pastor Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute Omar Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Diagur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Diagur in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Valery having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's Miguel Diagur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernan Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Capdevilla got a freekick which was hit by Omar Maju. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
