Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Koby Wright started the match with the kick off. Sandu Mândrilă hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 8th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Stamen Tekeliev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jax Williamson. The goal made the score 2-0. Stamen Tekeliev scored 3-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jax Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Jan Dixon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Teixeira was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dixon came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Stelian Murgu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Rohan Watson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stamen Tekeliev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The throw-in from Vladimiro Marquez in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canada's Eric Hill. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stamen Tekeliev made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 51st minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stamen Tekeliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Stamen Tekeliev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jax Williamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. Jan Dixon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Roberto Teixeira having to make a save. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Dixon in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. In the 91st minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playa Malvín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
