In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 19 in the game by Wincent Rode from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert Telin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evert Telin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Evert Telin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Evert Telin was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Dziurowicz in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Dziurowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wincent Rode kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Evert Telin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save CRS Pogoń Barlinek from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Telin having to interfere. Wincent Rode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wincent Rode had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Pochorylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
