Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. The long shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 6th minute really tested Marcelo Paraibano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 8 minutes, Camilo Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Sportkarelclub FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Lerych, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Mouricio came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 16 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Paraibano managed to make a qualified save. Sportkarelclub FC's players were relieved. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Marcelo Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Damian Lerych was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Lerych during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportkarelclub FC's Damian Lerych got a free kick in the 29th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Lerych in the 35th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by 董建坤 in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. With a little luck, Sportkarelclub FC's Marcelo Paraibano got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Sportkarelclub FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Lerych made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Lerych. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Florencio Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 65th minute of play. Marcelo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Sportkarelclub FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sportkarelclub FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Sportkarelclub FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Marcelo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportkarelclub FC's Marcelo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 92nd minute of play. Marcelo Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Uruguay fully deserved thier win.
