After a defensive mix-up in Sportkarelclub FC's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Paraibano came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Lerych went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcelo Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Veniamin Shashkov came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Afanasiy Dyachkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportkarelclub FC and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportkarelclub FC's Afanasiy Dyachkov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Marcelo Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 33rd minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sportkarelclub FC's Marcelo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcelo Paraibano, passed just outside the right post. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Lerych stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sportkarelclub FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Damian Lerych hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 董建坤 during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Sportkarelclub FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Panama a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abraham Alguacil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sportkarelclub FC's Marcelo Paraibano. 1-1. In the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Marcos Cotilla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Florencio Mouricio in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 64th minute of the match Sportkarelclub FC got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Lerych ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Damian Lerych fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportkarelclub FC's protests and gave Damian Lerych a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Florencio Mouricio had several of the Panama's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Marcos Cotilla as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 90 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Marcelo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Paraibano having to interfere. Hernan Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
