Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Beliran started the match with the kick off. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Bronco in the 10th minute of play. Joxa mé trasan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ove Löfgren in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ove Löfgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Joxa mé trasan booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joxa mé trasan's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Engström came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Bronco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Joxa mé trasan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Kruuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Lange hit a great ball. Arne Bronco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. In the 71st minute Laureano Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Joxa mé trasan's Laureano Beliran. But to his dismay, Laureano Beliran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edward Engström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes Joxa mé trasan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 79 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Arman von Liechtenstein. Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Joxa mé trasan from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Joxa mé trasan had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
