The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mexico booed when TÜRKİSTAN 61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. İslam Yerel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Veevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Veevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by İslam Yerel in the 27th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Derman Akdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Luca Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 34 minutes TÜRKİSTAN 61's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After 36 played minutes TÜRKİSTAN 61 got a freekick which was hit by İslam Yerel. 39 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Luis Esparza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TÜRKİSTAN 61 the free kick. After 41 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xu Yong Xu during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes TÜRKİSTAN 61 got a freekick which was hit by Xu Yong Xu. With a little luck, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Derman Akdağ got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Derman Akdağ, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes TÜRKİSTAN 61's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Akdağ having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play forced TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Luis Esparza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, İslam Yerel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TÜRKİSTAN 61 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 84 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. 85 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Zdzislaw Trynda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Veevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while TÜRKİSTAN 61 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
