Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetoslav Desov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tzvetoslav Desov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tzvetoslav Desov quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hristo Stoichkov. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Vitko Kozlov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Vitko Kozlov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzvetoslav Desov having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitko Kozlov's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Tzvetoslav Desov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tzvetoslav Desov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. Hristo Stoichkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Matey Balabanov hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Spiro Mutashki kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Kleen in the 54th minute of play. Tzvetoslav Desov made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Hristo Stoichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hristo Stoichkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Stoichkov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Kleen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tzvetoslav Desov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tzvetoslav Desov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Tzvetoslav Desov however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. SvE United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hristo Stoichkov in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Tzvetoslav Desov was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitko Kozlov, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SvE United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SvE United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
