The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Wit Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zisis Vourlis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Zapolski in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 13th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 柯川翔 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Wit Zapolski scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Wit Zapolski sent off a good shot on target. Zisis Vourlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Πυργετός Fc's Anthimos Kousouridis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Wit Zapolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zisis Vourlis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Πυργετός Fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
