Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Naike made the kick off and thus started the match. Cristian Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 4th minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Naike in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Severo Maule recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Severo Maule showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Vitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Joey, made in the 27th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Vélez Juniors defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Vitin. The Vélez Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Vitin should have stopped the shot. Guido Luzaides short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Nicolas Roland scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Maule came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicolas Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Celedonio Eriz hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, one of Colombia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colombia. Colombia:s Pedro Manzanares showed great skill when he stopped Nicolas Roland:s penalty. In the 59th minute, Nicolas Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Cristian Naike took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia made a substitution. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Roland in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Naike came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Nicolas Roland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Nicolas Roland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Cristian Naike made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Eriz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nicolas Roland scored 6-2 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vélez Juniors had won after a very even match.
