When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Angus FC's 傅挺克 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and 傅挺克 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 傅挺克 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Elvio Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Mirande was slow to take the kick. During this time Angus FC's players had a chance to rest. Fermin Michael made a great header on Angus FC's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 32nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A collision led to Angus FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Lisandro Franco hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Mercer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 傅挺克, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 傅挺克 in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Mercer in the 59th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Mercer came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marius Mercer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Marius Mercer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Mercer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Porfirio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Angus FC's 傅挺克 got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Napier Graus kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Elvio Perico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Elvio Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angus FC's Marius Mercer got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
