Gil Meira struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. In the 6thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MUSHIBA FC's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez. MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 14th minute of play. MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lautaro Puig, made in the 15th minute of the game. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho do Nascimento. Chiquinho do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 27th minute of play. Chiquinho do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 34th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Chiquinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in MUSHIBA FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Chiquinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. A hard shot 59 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Chiquinho do Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. MUSHIBA FC's players were relieved. The throw-in from Lautaro Puig in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez. MUSHIBA FC's Severino Marquez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 67th minute of the game. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MUSHIBA FC's Benê da Costa. After 70 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Chiquinho do Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Ramos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes in the game Juan Rubio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alan Moruga. MUSHIBA FC's attentive Severino Marquez managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Chiquinho do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 94th minute of the match. Costa Rica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
