Mauro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Hong Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Mauro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lu Hong Qiang was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Mauro booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Islam Slimani sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 40thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lu Hong Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Bara came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Bara came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Islam Slimani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barnaba Falke who took care of the corner kick. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lu Hong Qiang having to make a save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mauro's goalkeeper Lu Hong Qiang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 81st minute. After 86 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Islam Slimani in the 89th minute of the match. Mauro's Lu Hong Qiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 91st minute of play. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
