Severo Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Paolo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Severo Elazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Elazar in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Ubarna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Paolo Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Apolo Lope sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of C.A Vientos Huracanados booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Paolo Ubarna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paolo Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Vientos Huracanados the free kick. After 42 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Higinio Cesaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Silvio Odilon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Desiderio Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Ubarna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Apolo Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Paolo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play, C.A Vientos Huracanados's Silvio Odilon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rdth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Vientos Huracanados's Paolo Ubarna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Ubarna saved C.A Vientos Huracanados from getting behind. In the 79th minute of the match Panama got a corner. C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 79th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Paolo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Lope scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Cesaro in the 84th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Apolo Lope made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 89th match minute, C.A Vientos Huracanados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Muc to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A Vientos Huracanados had won after a very even match.
