Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evan Le Moullec got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moïse Girerd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moïse Girerd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Evan Le Moullec came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Girerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Moïse Girerd. Chaponnay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Chaponnay FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Evan Le Moullec got a free kick in the 44th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. Kevan Brossier charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevan Brossier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevan Brossier to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Moïse Girerd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Moïse Girerd came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darren Bour during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Darren Bour. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Moïse Girerd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 72nd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moïse Girerd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Chaponnay FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 79thth minute of the game Felix Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaponnay FC's Moïse Girerd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moïse Girerd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Kevan Brossier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Noureddine Ridard replaced Renaud Houzet.
