Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gregor Kobel. Luz Tejedor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Giacometti came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregor Kobel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Schurter in the 10th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gregor Kobel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gregor Kobel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregor Kobel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ingo Minder in the 30 minute of the game. Gregor Kobel was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Williams Imholz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Montez was the one to do the kick off. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregor Kobel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 52 minutes of play, Peru's Joaquin Prats made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregor Kobel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Schurter in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alain Berset made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Stan Wawrinka replaced Rogelio Montez. Espen Steelers's Paul Klee was substituted for Marco Odermatt. Tobie Canclini got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Paul Klee. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Giacometti in the 69th minute of the match. Tobie Canclini made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 76th minute, Eliseo Mina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 82 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Schurter came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 95th minute of play. Espen Steelers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
