Tommy Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Gottfrid Haström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Gottfrid Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Axel Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gottfrid Haström to make any attempt to save it. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gottfrid Haström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Gottfrid Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio-Roberto Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gottfrid Haström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Pihl United got a freekick which was hit by Chico Dias. Axel Montenegro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gottfrid Haström. Pihl United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Sundberg in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tommy Sundberg made the kick off in the second half. Colombia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sergio-Roberto Ramos 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Ferreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. Pihl United's Anderson Leal was substituted for Sergio-Roberto Ramos. In the 85th minute, Pihl United's Enrique Ferreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When Colombia's Abram Secada in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pihl United's goalie prevented a goal. After 89 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Secada made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Haström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
