The supporters of Mexico booed when Menang Kalah Tawuran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romain Moissonnier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Leão in the 24th minute of play. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bela Negara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Menang Kalah Tawuran's Markus Arwana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Menang Kalah Tawuran's goalkeeper Bela Negara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. A hard shot 38 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Bela Negara managed to make a qualified save. Menang Kalah Tawuran's players were relieved. Menang Kalah Tawuran were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mexico's much stronger midfield.
