Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leif Löfdahl got the match started through his kick off. Alfons Glad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfons Glad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Dubiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Segmon IF's Alfons Glad got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Segmon IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cristian Sancho got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-0. 15 minutes into the match. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Dubiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfons Glad could save by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lidström in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robert Dubiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Dubiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joseph Österlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Segmon IF's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Robert Dubiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Glad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Alfons Glad in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfons Glad. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Johannes Rosin hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Glad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Glad having to interfere. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Johannes Rosin hit a great ball. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Johannes Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Leif Löfdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Löfdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 81st minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Glad was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
